How do I apply to Walsh?
Students can apply on Walsh’s website or through the Common Application.
Is there an application fee?
No, there is no fee to apply.
Does Walsh have an application deadline?
Walsh does not have an application deadline. Since Walsh has a rolling admissions policy, we admit students year-round.
Explain the Test Optional admissions policy
Any student can to be apply test-optional. This means that students are not required to submit an ACT/SAT score to determine admission to Walsh.
How do I send high school transcripts?
It is recommended that you contact your School Counselor to find out how they send transcripts. Walsh University accepts transcripts electronically via Naviance, Scoir, and the Common App, as well as via mail.

Transcripts are also accepted via email at the address admissionsdocuments@walsh.edu. Please include your name and high school in the email.
How do I send my test scores?
If you would like to have your ACT or SAT scores sent directly to Walsh University, please use these school codes: ACT–3349; SAT–1926. You can submit your SAT score through collegeboard.org or submit your ACT score through ACT.org.
Please contact your School Counselor to send Classical Learning Test (CLT) scores.
Walsh University also accepts IB scores for admissions. Contact your admissions counselor for more information.
If you have self-submitted scores on your Common Application, please note that these cannot be used for acceptance. Walsh requires official scores either on your high school transcript or sent through the testing board.
How am I notified that my application has been reviewed?
Your admissions counselor will reach out to you once an admission decision is made. Shortly after, you will receive your official decision letter in the mail once all required documents have been submitted.
How do I qualify for financial aid?
To determine your financial aid award eligibility please submit your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to Walsh. The FAFSA application period opens annually and Financial Aid Awards are then sent to admitted students.
How do I qualify for an academic scholarship?
Merit scholarships are awarded based on GPA and ACT/SAT score (unless you apply Test Optional). These awards are renewable for four years. Reach out to your admissions counselor about whether you should apply test optional or not in order to get the highest merit possible.

Will my AP, College Credit Plus or other college credits transfer?
Walsh University will accept accredited college course credit which will count as an elective credit or as a course which is part of your major. You can send unofficial transcripts to the Office of Admissions or your Admissions Counselor to find out how classes will transfer.
Students must earn a specified score on an Advanced Placement (AP) exam in order to “test out” of certain required general education courses. AP test scores should be sent to the Office of Admissions prior to registering for classes/attending orientation.
