Introducing the WU Promise Grant

An Opportunity for a Tuition-Free Education with the WU Promise Grant.

At Walsh University, we believe every student deserves the chance to pursue their purpose without being held back by the cost of college. That’s why we’re proud to introduce the WU Promise Grant—our commitment to making a high-quality Walsh University education affordable for students and families who need it most.

Beginning with the 2026–27 academic year, the WU Promise Grant will cover all remaining tuition for eligible first-time, degree-seeking students after federal, state, and institutional aid are applied. For qualifying families, that means you can earn a Walsh University degree tuition-free.

This life-changing opportunity is open to incoming first-year students. The award is renewable for up to eight semesters, provided you remain enrolled full-time, maintain good academic standing, and stay on track toward your degree.

At Walsh, your dreams shouldn’t depend on your financial situation. With the WU Promise Grant, we’re making sure they don’t.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • File a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by the priority deadline and qualify for a need-based Federal Pell Grant

  • Enroll as a traditional, full-time, first-year student
  • If you live outside a 45-mile radius of the campus, you are required to reside on campus
