We would like to thank the many friends of Walsh University for their time, generosity and overall commitment to making Walsh University an asset to not only its students but also the community at large. Thank you for your support of Walsh!
Below is a list of some of our boards and committees that help make so much at Walsh University a reality for our students, alumni, faculty, staff and the community.

Walsh University Board of Directors
Walsh University is governed by a 24-member Board of Directors comprised of alumni, entrepreneurs, educators, business and community leaders, clergy, and members of the Brothers of Christian Instruction, Walsh’s founding order. Members meet three times per year as a full board, with committees meeting more frequently as needed. The Board of Directors, as fiduciaries serving Walsh University, provide professional advice and have oversight responsibilities across the university that include overseeing our mission, our financial integrity, the quality of our educational programming, and our strategic planning.

The Walsh University Women's Committee
The Walsh University Women's Committee, organized to serve as a liaison to the community, has raised more than $500,000 to aid in various university projects, including facilities, campus signs and beautification, purchasing of equipment and furnishings, and maintaining an endowed scholarship fund. This group of dedicated volunteers organizes two major Canton-area fundraisers annually: the Passport to the World event in May and Fall Fashion Show in November.

The Alumni Board of Trustees
The Alumni Association of Walsh University now includes a community of 18,000 alumni from 34 countries and all 50 states. Since 1964, the Alumni Board of Trustees has worked to maintain and strengthen relationships with alumni, while supporting the University and its initiatives.

The Heritage Society
The Brother Thomas S. Farrell Heritage Society, named for Walsh’s first president, was established to recognize the permanent value of legacy gifts to Walsh University. Walsh honors alumni, friends, faculty and staff who have demonstrated outstanding commitment to our institution by choosing to benefit the University through planned giving. Planned gifts include gifts through wills, charitable trusts, gift annuities, life insurance, endowed scholarships or other estate planning arrangements.
