Major: Graphic Design

The Walsh University alumnus legacy continues for the family of Miklos Hendricks. His parents, Edward ’17, ’20, and Elizabeth (Beresh) ’96, ’17, and brothers Christian ’19, ’22, and Sebastian ’22, are proud alumni.

The third of four boys, and a senior majoring in Graphic Design, Hendricks said he is extremely honored and blessed to be at Walsh.

“Coming from a family of Cavaliers is pretty special! Walsh is more than a college … it has always felt like a second home to me,” he said. “I feel supported in my major, and I’m grateful for the relationships I have with my professors and teammates.”

According to Hendricks, these individuals impacted him through mentorship and assisting him with the skills he needs for success in the classroom and in life. He ran cross country and track until the end of his junior year. Being an athlete is something he said was well worth it, as it prepared him to be a better communicator, a leader, and it taught him to manage his time.

“Walsh has helped me to become the best person I can be,” he said. “Now that I am in my senior year, I am focused on growing in my faith and exceling in graphic design, something I really enjoy.”

Hendricks chose to major in graphic design because of the opportunities is could provide. He’s an intern for Plain Township, and he hopes to start his own business in the future.

“Walsh has taught me that success is not something that is handed to you, it’s something that you need to work toward,” he said. “With that said, my goal is to start my own business, where there is a fun, family atmosphere that is motivating and provides a high level of productivity and job satisfaction.”
