Ruth Giles ’15 | Personal Learning Specialist | Amplify

Ruth Giles is a dynamic educator and learning consultant with a passion for inspiring confidence, curiosity, and perseverance in every learner. With experience teaching science, math, and ESL in diverse K–12 classrooms, she has coached teachers and leaders to unlock student potential through inquiry-driven learning, high-quality instructional materials, and equity-centered strategies. Ruth holds an M.Ed. in Curriculum & Instruction (Science Education) from UT Arlington and a B.S. in Exercise Science from Walsh University. She is known for giving the “extra 1%” each day, designing engaging, real-world learning experiences and fostering environments where people feel both challenged and supported. Ruth believes success is measured not only by student outcomes but by the curiosity, confidence, and self-belief learners carry forward. Beyond the classroom, Ruth enjoys traveling the world, volunteering with local animal shelters, and creating meaningful connections wherever she goes.
