
Miguel Chavez DMin, MA, MBA ’04 ’07 ’13 | Senior Vice President for Mission and Ministry, Sisters of Charity Health System
Miguel Chavez is a proud first-generation college graduate and Walsh University alumnus. He holds dual B.A. degrees in Theology and Pastoral Ministry (2004), an M.A. in Theology (2007), and an MBA (2013). Most recently, he earned his Doctor of Ministry degree from St. Mary Seminary and Graduate School of Theology in 2025.
Miguel currently serves as Senior Vice President for Mission and Ministry at the Sisters of Charity Health System in Cleveland, Ohio. Over the course of his career, he has worked in higher education, parish and diocesan ministry, and nonprofit healthcare leadership. He also serves as a consultant in ministry, strategic planning, formation, professional development, and mission integration.
A sought-after speaker, Miguel is regularly invited to lead retreats, workshops, and conferences across the country. His journey as the son of an immigrant and first in his family to graduate from college continues to shape his mission-driven approach to leadership and mentorship.
