Megan Maxim '23 | Audit Senior | Ernst & Young
I am an audit senior at Ernst & Young (EY) in the Cleveland, Ohio office and a licensed CPA in the state of Ohio, specializing in audit and assurance services for financial services clients, including wealth management, private equity, hedge funds, and real estate. I serve on Walsh University’s Accounting Advisory Board and am also involved with Junior Achievement Cleveland. I graduated from Walsh University in 2023 with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance and a minor in Data Analytics. During my time at Walsh, I served as President of the Walsh Institute of Management Accountants (IMA) and participated in the CFA Research Competition, Walsh Student Managed Investment Portfolio, and Student Government. Prior to starting full-time, I completed a busy season assurance internship at EY and an accounting and investor relations internship at the Timken Company. Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, running, playing tennis, attending concerts, and exploring new restaurants in Cleveland. I am excited to mentor Walsh business students because I am passionate about sharing my experience, promoting awareness of the CPA exam, and helping build the next generation of accounting talent.
