Jon Smith '94 | Executive Vice President | AssuredPartners (a Gallagher Company)
Jon Smith, a proud 1994 Walsh University graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Chemistry, has built an accomplished career in the insurance and benefits industry. He currently serves as Executive Vice President at AssuredPartners, where he leads efforts in recruiting and retaining mid-market and large employer benefit programs while also sourcing and integrating agency mergers and acquisitions. His career has included leadership roles as Senior Vice President at Leonard Insurance and Agency President at AssuredPartners, where he played a key role in growth and strategy. Following AssuredPartners’ recent acquisition by Gallagher, a global insurance brokerage, Jon’s work has expanded to a broader scope with national and global reach. Beyond his professional accomplishments, he remains deeply connected to Walsh as Vice Chair of the DeVille School of Business Board and Chair of the Student Outreach Committee, and he extends his leadership to the wider community by serving as Vice Chair for two additional local organizations.
