David Shaffer is a proud Walsh University alumnus—and the first in his family to earn both an undergraduate and graduate degree. With over 27 years of experience in the financial services industry, he brings deep expertise and a passion for helping others achieve financial clarity. His career includes 15 years in banking and the past 7 years as a financial advisor with Edward Jones.
David understands the value of hard work, persistence, and lifelong learning. Outside of his professional role, he’s a dedicated father to four boys and enjoys staying active through sports, spending time outdoors, traveling, and making memories with friends and family.
As a mentor, David looks forward to supporting students as they explore their goals and build a foundation for future success—both personally and professionally.
