Why did you join the alumni board?
Since 2000, Walsh University has been such a special place for my family and me. As a proud alumnus, I am eager to give back and engage other alums in supporting current students in their academic, professional, and social lives.
What is your favorite thing about Walsh?
Walsh cultivates an important faith-oriented ethos of community, hospitality, service, and excellence that prepares students to lead with Gospel love and humility, trusting in God’s providential care (Sed Deus Dat Incrementum). Inspired by the example of the Brothers of Christian Instruction, people care for each other on this campus! You never walk alone! As a student, professional staff, and educator at Walsh, I always trusted that others were there to accompany me through thick and thin – no matter what. The associations and kindled friendships I made on campus continue to inspire me in my life. Walsh is my family. As a first-generation college graduate, I am and will always be eternally grateful for this Institution.
