WAVE Program

Turn Your Associate's in Education into a Bachelor's Degree in two years or less with Walsh University!
Walsh University has partnered with Cuyahoga Community College and Stark State College to provide an accelerated path to teacher education through Walsh's Accelerated Vision for Educators (WAVE) program.

Start This Fall!

Candidates will earn their Bachelor's in Education and have two teaching licenses!

  • Accelerated program includes a free summer online workshop to help you graduate faster
  • Scholarships and financial aid are available

Specialties include:

  • P-5 Elementary Education/P-5 Intervention Specialist (Dual Licensure)
  • K-12 Intervention Specialist - Mild/Moderate
  • K-12 Intervention Specialist Moderate/Intensive
  • Ideal candidates will also have:
  • Mimimum 3.0 GPA
  • Financial Need
  • Commitment to teach in Ohio's in underserved areas
  • Valid BCI/FBI Background Check
  • Complete Application Requirements and Interview
