Earn your bachelor's degree and Juris Doctorate in 5 years!

You can make your time in class add up with the 3+2 program through Walsh University and the University of Dayton (UD). Through the program, students can obtain a bachelor's degree in Legal Studies from Walsh University and a juris doctorate (JD) from the University of Dayton in just five years, rather than the usual seven years it typically takes to complete both degrees.

About the 3+2 Program

  • Students complete three years of undergraduate coursework at Walsh University, choosing from legal studies tracks in business, sociology or humanities.
  • In their fourth year, students enter the University of Dayton School of Law and begin working toward their JD.
  • Upon completion of their first year at UD, credits will transfer back to Walsh where students will obtain their bachelor's degree.
  • Students will then have one year left to complete their JD at University of Dayton.
