Walsh University’s Technology Training for High School Students program is designed to help high school students uncover and develop their skills and abilities in cutting-edge technological fields. Students will explore areas such as coding (PDF), data science, AI and cybersecurity. This program not only introduces them to the latest advancements in technology but also helps students align their inherent skill sets with their career objectives. By engaging with frontier technologies, students will gain valuable insights into potential career paths and be inspired to pursue further education and opportunities in these innovative fields.

 


Drone Technology Credential

The program also offers the opportunity to earn the FAA Drone Technology UAS (Unmanned Aircraft Systems) credential, which is essential for individuals who wish to operate drones commercially. This credential ensures that operators have the necessary knowledge and skills to fly drones safely and in compliance with federal regulations. The course includes connections to employers, allowing participants to discuss potential job opportunities in the rapidly growing field of drone technology.

HVAC Program

The Walsh University Skilled Technical Workforce Program for HVAC professionals is led by certified industry veterans in a state-of-the-art, five thousand square foot facility located in Canton, Ohio. The Trade Master’s learning lab is staffed by licensed HVAC instructors with decades of industry experience. As education providers for Ohio’s TechCred Grant program, Walsh University provides cutting edge training at no cost to Ohio businesses or their employees.
