Favorite thing about Walsh: My favorite thing about Walsh is the number of faculty members who are dedicated to helping you succeed, both academically and spiritually. I have had amazing experiences with professors who have spent extra time outside of their office hours to assist and guide me. This includes get-togethers at their homes, personal phone calls answering my questions, and having professors who pray with and for me. I have always felt supported in all aspects of life as a Walsh student.
Favorite places/things to do in Stark County: Attending Eucharistic Adoration at the Sancta Clara Monastery, Going with friends to Gervasi Vineyards, and First Fridays in Downtown Canton
Advice for a prospective Walsh student: Take advantage of the resources Walsh offers you!!! All of them are terrific--from Counseling Services, to Academic Support, and the Career Center. However, I think the biggest hidden gem at Walsh is the personal librarians! You are given your own personal librarian to use during your time at Walsh, and they will help you with so many things! I wish I would have taken advantage of this as a freshman.
