Upon registering for courses, students will be automatically enrolled into the program. Once you've successfully selected your courses, the bookstore will start preparing your order.
Starting 30 days before the first day of classes, you will receive an email to verify your order and select your fulfillment preference.
An email notification will be sent when your order is ready for pickup or when it ships. Your digital materials will be delivered for your course(s) within your school's Learning Management System.
First Day® Complete is a course materials delivery program that lowers the cost of course materials and ensures students have their required course materials on the first day of class.
The program provides all required textbooks, lab manuals, access codes and digital textbook versions to eligible students.
The program may not include some consumable items like lab goggles, dissection kits and art kits. We make every effort to include these items wherever possible, subject to change.
All eligible students will be automatically enrolled in the First Day® Complete Program.
The deadline to return all rental textbooks is the last day of finals. Students will receive email reminders about the rental deadline to their email address.
Yes, the program provides you with the option to purchase textbooks at a reduced rate during the return period.
Yes, you will still be required to return continuation course textbooks. You will be issued the same title for the next semester of the continuation course.
The program results in a 35% to 50% reduction in cost to students. This ensures that students have all of their material for the whole semester available to them before the first day of class.
While it is not recommended, students have the option to opt-out of this program and can purchase their course materials at a higher price. The Opt-out process begins 30 days prior to the start of the semester through add/drop of the first 8 weeks.
If you choose to opt-out of the program, it is your responsibility to have the required course materials before the first day of class. If you fail to obtain the proper materials prior to the beginning of class, it is not Walsh University's faculty or staff responsibility to provide extenuating accommodations for you.
Any semester where there are zero materials required, it is advised to opt out by the opt out deadline. If you have any questions, reach out to the Bookstore at 330.490.7361 or sm372@bncollege.com.
