"We met during our Human Phys class in Fall 2011. Michael and I were randomly assigned to the same group and began talking and walking together after class. We started hanging out after the new year at a First Friday in downtown Canton. Michael then participated in Mr. Walsh in 2012 and I was his "escort." The day after, he asked me to be his girlfriend!"
The Proposal:
"Michael asked for my dad's blessing over Christmas 2013. He then planned out a walk down memory lane a family weekend at my sister's school where my family read memories of certain special dates in our relationship. Michael was waiting at the end in a bridge, where he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. The onlooking crowd applauded and began playing Bruno Mars' "I Think I Wanna Marry You." Obviously, I said yes!"
Where are you now?:
"We are currently living in Greenville, NC in our new home with our two dogs. I am working in my dream job as a pediatric physical therapist and Michael is a 7th grade math teacher. We both love our jobs and spending time with the pups. While we enjoyed our time at Walsh, we are very much enjoying the mild winters in the Carolinas!"
