A cross-enterprise effort to prioritize training and education on domestic violence, sexual harassment, and mental health initiatives led to Walsh University earning the 2023 Campus Prevention Network Seal of Prevention™, recognizing exceptional commitment to student safety, well-being, and inclusion through evidence-based digital prevention programs. With fewer than 10 percent of institutions nationwide earning this distinction, Walsh University stands at the forefront of promoting a culture of safety and inclusivity on campus.
Launched in 2020, the Campus Prevention Network Seal of Prevention™ sets a high standard for campus leadership, emphasizing evidence-based practices and rigorous digital prevention programs. Walsh University's dedication to these principles not only enhances the campus community but also contributes to higher retention and graduation rates, underscoring its commitment to student success.
“We are honored to receive the 2023 Campus Prevention Network Seal of Prevention™, which reflects our unwavering dedication to creating a safe and supportive environment for all members of our community,” said Rachel Hosler, Vice President for Student Affairs. “This recognition reaffirms our commitment to excellence and serves as a testament to the collective efforts of our faculty, staff, and students.”
Walsh University remains steadfast in its mission to prioritize the safety and well-being of its students, and looks forward to continuing its efforts to foster a campus environment where every member feels valued and supported.
