Due to significant changes by the Federal Government to the application and the rebuild of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) processing system, the 2024-2025 FAFSA was delayed until Dec. 31, 2023. Review the key FAFSA changes.
Before completing the FAFSA, please complete these steps:
Complete the 2024-2025 Walsh Supplemental Application (PDF).
All returning students will need to complete this form. This is an internal form used to verify enrollment intentions, sport and activity involvement, outside financial contributions, and other factors that contribute to a student’s institutional aid eligibility. If you are not planning to pursue federal or state financial aid, this form has a space to mark that you are not filing a FAFSA. Completed financial aid forms can be uploaded to our secure portal.
Go to studentaid.gov and make sure all contributors to your FAFSA have created an FSA ID.
An FSA ID is an account and password that gives you access to the Federal Student Aid’s online system and serves as your electronic signature. If you already have an FSA ID, there is no need to create a new one – your existing FSA ID will continue to work. Review the key FAFSA changes for a list of who will be considered a contributor.
