Walsh University has announced the appointment of Ashley Coulter as Director of E-Learning. Reporting to the Vice President for Enrollment Management, this position oversees the operations and strategic planning related to the design, delivery, and support of online courses.

Ashley’s leadership experience in online education and knowledge of best practices, will be invaluable as we are strategically focused on the growth and continued success of our online courses and programs,” said Rebecca Coneglio, Vice President for Enrollment Management.
Coulter has spent the past ten years in education, from the high-school classroom teacher to a corporation-wide curriculum specialist. She has experience working with academic programs and faculty members to develop curriculum, create assessment plans, and make data-based decision-making in order to increase student success and retention. Coulter looks forward to developing new relationships between the E-Learning team and stakeholders and promoting the expertise and services the instructional designers offer.
Prior to joining Walsh University, Coulter served the Department of Instructional Design Services at Ivy Tech Community College. She was responsible for overseeing the implementation of a statewide, centralized online program that serves over 70,000 online students each semester.
Coulter earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Western Kentucky University in both English Literature and Philosophy and a Master of Education in Education from Marian University. She has earned multiple Quality Matters certifications as well as an Instructional Design certification from the Online Learning Consortium.
