Dr. Michele Tilstra has been named the Interim Director of the Master of Occupational Therapy program.
She is a Clinical Assistant Professor and has been serving as the Academic Fieldwork Coordinator for the MOT program at Walsh University since 2018.
She will continue to work in her role as the co-program director of the Counselors and Occupational Therapists Professionally Engaged in the Community (COPE) grant.
Dr. Tilstra has over 28 years of clinical experience including clinical program director in several types of settings including skilled nursing facilities, home health, and outpatient rehabilitation/ hand therapy. She is a member of the Ohio Occupational Therapy Association, American Occupational Therapy Association, and the AOTA Academic Leadership Council.
