Walsh University is taking registrations for the annual Physical Therapy Community Clinic on April 11, 12, and 13. Sessions are open to the public and offered at no charge. Community members may choose between in-person appointments at Walsh University or Telehealth.
Licensed physical therapists will supervise as Walsh doctoral physical therapy students perform the exam, which will include an overall general health and wellness screening, a movement system screen, posture assessment, and a balance and fall-prevention assessment. They also recommend individualized home exercise programs and give referrals to outpatient health care professionals, if needed.
Space is limited, and registration is required. Participants must be 18 or older. One-hour time slots will be assigned on a first-come, first-serve basis. Multiple clinic sessions are available each day. Hours on April 11 and 12 are 8 a.m. – 6:20 p.m. April 13 hours are 8 a.m. – 12:10 p.m.
For more information or to reserve an appointment, call 330-490-7566, email walshdptclinic@walsh.edu, or visit
