Walsh University has named Aurora Alexander to the position of Director of Career and Experiential Education.
In this role, Aurora will lead the University’s Camelot Career Readiness & Development Center and serve as part of the Experiential Learning team. She will be responsible for building opportunities for students to engage with career education and career management throughout their time at Walsh.
Aurora joins the Walsh community from Amazon where she served as a Senior Human Resource Analyst and helped to coordinate and execute the Career Choice program for associates interested in obtaining certifications and college-level degrees to advance their careers. Prior to Amazon, she worked in several positions in higher education advising students on academic and career goals, including several years at Kent State University as a Senior Advisor and Instructor from 2016-2020. She is a certified Job and Career Development Coach and brings a depth of knowledge on how to integrate career education, internships, and work related experiences into the student experience.
Aurora is a graduate of Marshall University in West Virginia and earned her Master degree from Walsh University’s Counseling and Human Development program.
