Writing Center

The Writing Center, founded in 1990, provides on-site tutoring in writing for any paper in any University course. The Director and student tutors also give research and documentation assistance in MLA, APA, and Chicago styles. Tutors work with students on areas like content, development, organization, and individual points of grammar. Also available are reference materials such as dictionaries, thesauri, style manuals, and grammar-oriented CD-ROM programs. If you would like to know more about the Writing Center, you can e-mail the Director, Kathleen Buttermore, or you can telephone her at (330) 490-7233.
