Walsh scored all ten points in the fourth quarter, in recording their second shutout of the season. Walsh's Rayshaun Kizer (Sr., Euclid, OH/HS) intercepted two passes, one at the Geneva five-yard line in the first quarter. The only touchdown of the game was set-up on a 55-yard pass from Marc Pullen (So., Akron, OH/Ellet) to Rob Lash (Jr., Shelby, OH/HS) at the Geneva eight-yard line. Jeff Tallman (RS/Fr., Canton, OH/Perry) then scored on a five-yard run to give the Cavs a 7-0 lead at the 12:02 mark of the final period. Mike Lum (Sr., North Canton, OH/HS) closed the scoring with a 24-yard field goal with 7:47 to play. Antwain Reine' (Jr., Dayton, OH/Trotwood Madison) led all rushers with 114 yards. Mike McGill (So., RS/Fr., Barberton, OH/Coventry) caught two passes for 79 yards. Walsh held Geneva to just 32 yards on the ground and 244 yards total offense.
