History

 

In the Department of History, students have the possibility of studying Western and World Civilization within the ancient, medieval, early modern, and modern periods. While courses providing details of American and Western History are prominent, courses in non-Western Histories are also available. While all Walsh students are required by the core curriculum to take one three credit History course, a major and a minor course of study in History are also available. Many courses in history also meet the general education core curriculum requirements.
