Walsh University sponsors programs around the globe for two, three, four and eight weeks:
The Rome Experience - Spring 2009, 8 week program - Understand Rome's impact on our past and its role in today's global economy during this full-time program. Students study and visit many of Rome's greatest cultural and current locales while staying in the shadow of the Pope's summer home - Castel Gandolfo. Weekend travel opportunities are available.
Rome Summer - Summer 2009, 4-week program - In this shorter, more concentrated version of the Rome Experience, explore this magnificent ciy's history, art, and culture, with an added focus on nursing and comparative health-care.
Kisubi, Uganda - Summer 2009, 2-week program - Using a sociological lens, examine Ugandan history, traditions, social institutions, and present challenges for development in this service and reflection-oriented immersion experience.
Museum Studies - Summer 2009, 2-week program - From medieval to modern, explore some of Europe's most cherished collections in a course led by Walsh Museum Studies faculty. Destinations include: Rome, Florence, Paris.
El Salvador - December 2009, 2-week program - Engage with a number of Salvadoran communities while studying theology, sociology, politics, and the economics that influence the people and history of El Salvador.
Walsh University's Global Learning Program, in conjunction with CCSA, will also offer opportunities in Australia, London, Dublin, Hong Kong, India, Scotland, Ireland, Ghana, and Belize.
