The Spanish and French programs are designed to complement other fields of study, particularly business and human services, to make students more marketable in their chosen career area at a time when the international scope of many aspects of our lives in increasing. The programs emphasize the development of reading, writing, and conversational fluency in a second language, as well as an understanding of French and Hispanic cultures.
